Strapless Ivory Duchesse Satin Wedding Dress - size 8/10
Side sweeping rouched panel on upper half of dress finishing into a two tone / textured fabric flower corsage with beaded and fabric leaves on the left hip.
The skirt has no petticoats but is a slight A-Line in shape and has a long train which can be hooked up with a hidden loop using the the bottom part of the lace-up ribbon (as per picture) during the wedding dances.
The top of the skirt has a double box-pleat at the back to add some volume to the top of the train but the volume is subtle and cannot be seen from the front.
At the top, the back of the dress has a slight v-shape and is laced up with an ivory ribbon so can easily be adjusted for any last minute weight variations!
The duchesse satin is a light ivory in colour and of very good quality so that it doesn't easily wrinkle and it means that the dress retains it's shape well. The dress was worn just the once, has been dry-cleaned thoroughly and is in perfect condition.
The lace veil is unfortunately not for sale as it's a family heirloom.
The dress was made to measure in Galleria Couture and cost around $4000, I'm selling it for $1850.
The dress is currently in the UK (that's where I got married!) but I'm happy to get it shipped to any address in WA.

Antique Ivory Maggie Sottero Jorie Wedding Dress Sz 8/12
If you're looking for a romantic vintage feel but with modern taste, this wedding dress could be the 'one' - it was for me! The Maggie Sottero Jorie is a one-piece, strapless A-line gown, with a corset back. It is a size 10 but due to the corset and the style of the dress it could fit a size 8 to 12. The most stunning feature of this dress is the full layer of antique ivory lace that hangs over the satin underlay. The lace has crystals beaded into its intricate pattern, which makes it softly shimmer - definitely not too showy. Scalloped lace dances on the neckline and hemline of the gown. It has a medium train that can be bustled. Comes with the Maggie Sottero Certificate of Authenticity. I wore this for my wedding in May 09, it has been freshly drycleaned in a box, and also comes with a dress bag. I am also including a hoop and an ivory veil which I didn't actually wear. This dress is no longer available in Australian bridal stores, but was purchased from Abbey Bridal for $3,500. The dress can be viewed in Secret Harbour or I can bring it into work in Claremont.
