 Overview
Hello. I am pleased to offer my services to solemnise your marriage.
However, of course, I offer more than that! As a trained celebrant I see
it as my responsibility to ensure your special day is totally memorable.
To ensure your ceremony is as enjoyable as possible, here is the minimum
of what you can expect of me:
- All documentation required by Australian Law, including Notice of
Intended Marriage (completed at least one month prior to marriage date);
Official Certificate of Marriage and Declarations, presentation copy of
Certificate of Marriage, and entry into my Marriage Register;
- Full assistance with design and format of the ceremony itself (that
usually means I will create the ceremony for you - with your input);
- A presentation copy of the ceremony along with colour presentation
Certificate of Marriage;
- A rehearsal at the venue if desired (recommended);
- Full assistance in any way I can to ensure the day is a memorable and
trouble-free one.
- I am also available to answer any questions concerning marriage and its
legalities according to Australian Law.
I like to meet with you to ensure I am the person you are most
comfortable with, and during that meeting, we will discuss some of the
choices and ideas for the ceremony, and any requirements you have for
music, flowers, the format of the ceremony itself, and any other aspects
that will assist your day run smoothly. I am happy to meet as many times
as necessary to make sure things are as you want. And if you're not as
available as that, we can use email!
One of the delights of a Civil Ceremony is its capacity for formality or
informality, mobility, flexibility and personal design. I can help you
through the legal requirements to ensure your marriage is solemnised the
way you want it, and which will comply with Australian Law.
I have been a professional actor for over 30 years and promise you a
"performance" you'll enjoy.
